DIVERTIMENTO diversifies tourism offers in peripheral destinations with heritage-based products and services, addressing stakeholder alliances and improving professional skills to internationalize locally operating micro-enterprises, achieve excellence and facilitate their uptake by the global market. The Project combats stakeholder fragmentation and detects the unexploited cultural potential in peripheral destinations by uniting forces and by replacing outdated skills and mind-sets with a new, shared vision for development.
EUROTHENTICA is the Cultural Heritage Tourism Network calling for legendary journeys, sensations, culinary discoveries, games and adventures. Recreating Europe as motion, emotion and imagination, Eurothentica brings together hosts and guests through a dynamic storytelling (cultural heritage routes, ebook collection, games) at 70 heritage places in Italy, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Romania and Turkey.
Aiming to develop all over Europe, Eurothentica started as an EU funded project by the COSME Programme 2014-2020 under the 2015 Call for Tourism Development (COS/TOUR/699493 Divertimento).
